Our Story
The journey to creating Vantage was shaped by decades of experience at the intersection of technology, innovation, and organizational transformation. My work in AI, Expert Systems at Rolls Royce Aero Engines and Gateway Food Markets in the UK, and groundbreaking technologies like Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD) taught me the value of turning complex challenges into scalable solutions.
Moving from the UK and securing VC funding here in Utah, a small group of us founded TSL Inc. in Provo —where our only tech neighbors to speak of were WordPerfect (a desktop word processing app) and Novell (electronic networking for PC)—I gained a deep appreciation for innovation in an early, budding tech ecosystem. Leading software teams across global markets further reinforced my belief in the power of collaboration and cutting-edge development.
In the early 2000’s a group of like-minded individuals met at Snowbird Ski Resort, a stone’s throw (or two) from our office and put together the Agile Manifesto. I immediately saw how this put structure on the organized chaos that was our tech startup a few years earlier. My passion for Agile methodologies and organizational agility drove me to guide teams and enterprises through transformative change at Veracity Solutions Consulting in Salt Lake City.
Ultimately, Vantage Solution and Innovation Studios (VSI) was born using this cumulative expertise. We are here to help startups and small business innovate and thrive. At its core, Vantage is about facilitating the delivery of exceptional products, streamlining operations and achieving sustainable growth in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
